Integral Accounting Enterprise Fund is designed using Multi-Tier Dot Net Architecture, which means that all of the different program functions are separated into tiers, and each of these separate tiers of the system can be run on a different machine or on a group of different machines for performance and scalability.

The system also has multiple presentation layers implemented in different languages, and each communicating to the database engine  through the business logic layer, which was implemented using Web Services. Implementing this tier as a web service allows the presentation layers to transparently interact with the back-end accounting engine either over a LAN, WAN, VPN, or the Internet.
Using tiers and web services also allows all of the presentation layers to interact with the accounting engine simultaneously , you can have multiple copies of the different presentation layers all interacting with the same accounting engine at the same time.

When you purchase the full Integral Accounting Live! product, you also get full rights to customize the product, and offer it as a gadget to your users or offer it as a hosted (Saas) service for resale. Customize the program for a vertical market and resell it to them, or integrate the system with your own custom solution and resell it to your existing user base. Integral Accounting Live! only uses controls that either come with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, or are completely written by STFB Inc. This is to ensure that there are no licensing and distribution problems when you customize and want to re-distribute the application to your clients.
The only limitation that applies to the use and distribution of our application is that you cannot resell the source code, only the compiled applications that you create from the Integral Accounting Enterprise Fund system. An additional license would have to be purchased for each source code instance being distributed.
